Update 3.1.0

Update 3.1.0 brings improvements to accounts, settings, community polls, and moderation tools, alongside our gameplay and connection improvements.

More ways to sign in, a voice for the community, clearer menus, and better tools for moderators and clip creators.

Version 3.1.0

More Ways to Sign In

  • Added support for Google and Discord sign-in, available as each provider is enabled.
  • Link a provider under Settings → Account and keep the same Scrux profile, progress, inventory and clips.
  • If a new provider sign-in looks connected to an existing account, a guided prompt lets you sign in with your Scrux credentials and link it securely.
  • Email/password login remains available. Matching an email, connection or device never links an account automatically.

Login & Connection Fixes

  • Fixed a timing issue where your own reserved nickname could be rejected immediately after signing in.
  • Play now waits for the game server to recognise your account, with a loading indicator while that confirmation is pending.
  • Removed overlapping login checks on the same connection and stopped old login retries from following you onto a different connection.
  • Account connection passes no longer depend on keeping the same IP or fingerprint; the correct account must still be signed in.

A Cleaner Settings Menu

  • Settings now has separate Display, Graphics, Keybinds and Account sections.
  • Removed unnecessary nested boxes around graphics controls and improved spacing.
  • Linked Google and Discord logins have their own Account section.
  • Improved keyboard navigation between settings sections.

Community Polls

  • Moderators and admins can create polls for existing accounts across EU and NA.
  • Eligible players see a small, optional card when they next enter the menu—not an interruption during gameplay.
  • Unanswered polls reappear on menu visits until you choose an option or select Not interested. Once your response is saved, a brief thank-you appears before the card fades away.
  • Polls normally last 24 hours, with results available to staff. Guests and accounts created after a poll starts cannot vote in that poll.

Reorganised Moderator Console

  • Player moderation and Community polls now have separate, clearly labelled tabs.
  • Player details and moderation actions have a cleaner layout, including on smaller screens.
  • Removed the mirrored chat panel and its background updates from the console.
  • Normal in-game chat and moderator chat are unchanged.

Clip Labs & Replay Reports

  • On configured production servers, Clip Labs can automatically start a six-hour recording when a mode has more than 10 actively playing humans.
  • Bots, minions, spectators and disconnected players do not count toward that trigger. An existing recording prevents another automatic start.
  • Exported clips are marked in Clip Labs so creators can see which ones they have already exported.
  • Player reports made during an active recording now leave timestamped report markers, helping moderators find the relevant moment later.

Inventory & Behind the Scenes

  • The inventory sort control now matches the order actually displayed, including the default A–Z order.
  • Strengthened account, connection-pass and internal server authentication protections.
  • Updated dependencies and expanded automated tests around sign-in, account linking, polls and interface behaviour.
  • Updated the Privacy Policy to explain optional social sign-in. Existing ban and mute controls remain in place.
